James is everything you’d want in a dog sitter. He is attentive, considerate, experienced, and has a great affinity with Dogs. Our Oscar can be quite nervous when we leave, but James was reassuring, and Oscar soon relaxed and had a lovely evening. I would 100% recommend James and ask him to sit for Oscar again. I found James when I was in a hurry as I needed to go away in a few days time and would have to leave my cats with somebody who was happy to medicate one of them who is unwell. Thought it would be very difficult to find somebody who not only could come and do a preliminary visit, but come in to feed and give medication within such short notice. James' profile came up first for the area I was looking in - he came round the next day or so to meet the cats and us, despite such short notice! He had such a calm way about him, told us that he was used to difficult cats (not that mine are!) and I felt reassured in his presence immediately. I knew that they would feel this too. All went well - he sent pictures of cats and food, so I felt like I was still at home with them. I hate leaving my cats, as I feel very protective, but would be very happy to leave them with James again knowing he is giving them that little bit more than just food. Thank you James!

James is very reliable, friendly, and knowledgeable about dogs’ behaviour. Dogs are his passion. He deeply cares about them, and I know that I can trust him with my 8 months old german shepherd puppy Roxy. He has been helping me to overcome Roxy’s car anxiety and already on our second session Roxy behaved much calmer in the car. I know I can rely on James that he will take a good care of Roxy

Used James for the first time for a walk of our two labs. He was willing to come and meet us all beforehand to show around and meet our dogs. Dogs seemed very satisfied and well looked after. James kept us up to date and even topped their water up before he left. Would be happy to recommend James.
